An Adjective that show the Number of a person or things called Adjective of Number

ऐसे विशेषणजिससे वस्तु के संख्या का बोध होता है, उसे संख्या वाचक विशेषण कहते है.

1. I have three rooms.
   मेरे पास तीन रूम है.
2. There are forty students in the class.
   यहाँ कक्षा में चालीस विद्यार्थी है.
3. Many criminal were killed.
   वाहा बहुत सारे अपराधी मारे गए.
4. Mohan is the second son of Mr. Purushotam.
   मोहन श्री पुरुषोतम के दुसरे पुत्र है.

Above all sentences uses three, forty, Many and second are used beginning of Rooms, Students, Criminals, and Son that show the Number.

ऊपर दिए गए वाक्य में तीन, चालीस, बहुत और दूसरा क्रमश: रूम, विद्यार्थी, अपराधी और पुत्र के पहले हुआ है, जो इनकी संख्या बताता है.

1. One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six etc. are called Cardinal Adjectives
2. Next, Last, First, Seconds, Third, Fourth, Fifth etc. are called Ordinal Adjectives
