तात्कालिक वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग ऐसे अस्थाई कार्यो के लिए प्रयोग होता है, जो बोलने वक्त जारी नहीं हो रहा है.

2. He is reading the Mahabharata.

Rule 3: Present Continuous Tense are used for nearest future of fixed programme or plan.
तात्कालिक वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग निकट भविष्य के निश्चित कार्यक्रम या योजना के लिए होता है.

2. She is going home tomorrow.
3. She is singing this evening.

Rule 4: Present Continuous Tense are used for intention or likelihood.
तात्कालिक वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग इरादा और सम्भावना के लिए होता है.

Rule 5: Present Continuous Tense are used for continued increase or decrease.
तात्कालिक वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग लगातार वृद्धि या हास के लिए किया जाता है.
